'Leviathan' is an investigation into the brute force and the mystery of creation that eludes reason. The project uses the flow of water to compose the anatomy of a mythical entity, where different images and moments seek to dissect the structure of this body of colossal proportions.

The photographs propose an encounter with the absolute sovereign, the sea, whose laws govern the man who dives into it. It is a record of the duality between the privilege of the feast that nourishes the soul and spirit of those who bathe there, and the abyss that swallows; a recognition that, in the face of such immensity, we are subjects of a nature that answers only to itself.
